Anyone use a 2-step on a foot braked car? I would like to try to have more consistent launch RPMS, but have not wired it up. I was thinking of using a trans brake switch on the brake pedal, out of the way enough that I can choose not to use it if I don't want to. Anyone done this, and if so, any pics of your switch setup on the pedal? Any switch better than another?

When I was footbrake racing a lot I had a regular metal trans brake button on a two step, just drilled a hole on the brake pedal. Worked fine and kept me from creeping up on the converter as the tree was coming down andloading up the suspension. It was easier just to hold it floored with the 2 step at 2200 or whatever.

You'll need to read the fine print of the rules carefully.
Some tracks do, some don't - usually track owner/manager discretion or racing organization.

It is legal in the class I run.

If its legal in your class just put it on switch controlled by brake pressure
