I need to replace the harmonic balancer on a very mild 350. I have an extra Fluidampr (new). Is there any advantage to running a Fluidampr on a pretty much stock motor? Or should I just get a stock replacement and sell the Fluidampr?

As long as it's for the same application, ie: internal balance small block chevy, I'd run it. They are better than the stock balancer by far. I doubt you'll see any difference in running it, but it surely won't hurt.

agreed. in a stock application you will probably not notice much differance, other than your belts will run smoother. However, your engine will notice a differance as the internals will have a less wear. If you have no other home for it, run er!
