what happens when the float bowls vents are blocked are restricted? i am curious because i think this maybe my problem and not jetting properly for the q16 that i was running for the 1st time. went out lastnite and car nosed over like it was out of fuel 1st in hi gear and the 2nd pass in 2nd gear. i connected the float bowls vent with a 3/16 or 1/4 vaccum hose with vent cut in it. and besides that its the only thing i've done different since last time at the track besides running q16. and i am wondering could the restricted vents be causing this.

I know alot of racers use the hose but i tried it
and my motor didn't like it the car slowed down and stalled at
the end of the 1/4. I would have never thought that would happen
but when i removed it all was good again.

Take the hose back off and try it.

no i dont think so, and the hose is way smaller than the vents. i had to greese the hose up to fit it over the tubes. then i cut a small diamond shape out of it. i'm going to just pull it off and drive down the road to see if thats what was causing it.

use larger fuel line hose with a large slit in there..Why did you put one on there anyway??

honestly dont know why i did because everything was fine but i have had problems in the past with the fuel psi rising when the battery voltage went up. and causing the float bowls to fill up and at the end of the track when on the brakes dump fuel out causing the car to stall out. i pulled it off a few minutes ago but havent drove it down the road. if that dont fix it i'll start looking at the digital retard i added for the n2o.
