Cool personal experience. Thxs for sharing. Seriously. Reminded me of the old "Rent A Wreck" days
Ha Ha Ha..…I forgot about them! No branches in OR. Attorney General probably ran them off years ago, along with the payday loan gangsters. Looks like they are still out there in some states with cars just as bad, and maybe worse, than Fox.

I used Rent a Wreck years ago, $25 a week for a big old Impala... such a deal! After 3 breakdowns and tows in one week, they stopped renting to me.

Nah. They’re self insured. Every time somebody rents one & they charge $18 or whatever for insurance it goes into their insurance fund. If somebody wrecks one they use that $$ to repair them.

I don’t think they have enough in the kitty to cover that one. Lol
They might be self insured on individual car losses, but they probably have aggregate loss insurance or business interruption insurance.
