x2 on the guides. I had some guides going away and noticed that in the heads.

Whats going on down in Monexico?

You could pull a couple of the valve springs (with the piston at TDC) and move the valve back/forth to see if the guides are loose. Valve has to be off the seat a little though. If they are they'll probably start wiping out your valve job if left unchecked. Is your rocker geometry correct (ie in relation to the valve tip)?
