check filter
Is your rocker geometry correct (ie in relation to the valve tip)?
everything looks fine
Do you know Jim Vincent that was in the Army @ Ft. Leavenworth? Had a 68 Camaro (Green Hornet) with 502 ran 11's.... maybe 12 years ago.
yes i do
i am actually running the crank out of that 502.
the guids would have to be wasted and most of the material would go down not up// if the filter is clean the upper end stuff could be shim material if the shop didn't put a hardend shim under the spring will eat in to the shim most of the metal will stay up top. the dampner will saw through the shims... 2cts?/

yenko69 i will check with the machinist before i start tearing apart

gimmemud i will check for broken spring

excellerter iam not running a bronze gear
but also thought it would have to be silver before a struck gold

thanks so much
if i see him anytime soon i will let him know
i havnt got to the races or cross paths with him for some time know.

Doesn't Jim Vincent own the drag radial malibu that Merriman drives?
If so its an 8sec ride now, no more 10-11's.

that is correct craig
