I have a 93 mustang 3000lbs with me in it, I have 325/50 drag radials on it right now.(car is minitubbed) Looking at putting on a 28x10.5w mt drag slick, a hoosier qtp 28x13.5 I have billet specailties street lites on it. Im trying to lower the rotating mass due to the radial and rim combo being a little on the heavy side. I never got a good 60' on the radials(not the tires fault, they were just a few years old) I know the street lites are heavier than most wheels but there is also almost a 10lb difference between the radail and the slick. Just need some direction! Thanks as always everyone!

Or would a 28x10.5s be the best bet. I have had the et streets, radails, qtp, now I would like a full slick

Allow me to ask a few questions first.

How quick is the car?
I assume you are using an automatic transmission?
Are the tracks you race on well prepped?
Are you bracket racing or heads up?

10.6 at 128. So far with a 1.50 60' . The tracks I race at are pretty well prepped. Using a powerglide, 3.73 gears. and going to be racing bracket and some heads up
