Not a Dodge guy, but kinda like how the 12' and up Durango R/T Hemi looks. Any issues with those trucks or anyone have experience they can share like towing capabilities, mpg, etc ?

About to pull the trigger on an Escalade but the interior is just shit on them and is making me hesitate.

Thanks

This is what caught my eye

My neighbor has a new one and really likes it. No trouble so far.
Good to hear.. I see they only dyno high 200's to the wheels in AWD form, which seems like it would be weak as shit. But, the wife wants 3rd row with the kids and my choices are limited.

My wife had a '11 and loved it. We sold it and was going to get her into a new one but she ended up in a Denali XL instead.

Never any issues with the new Durango. My only complaint was that with the 3rd row up there is hardly any room behind it for luggage and bags.

We've had a couple Durango's. Overall a decent vehicle, only one that gave us fits was an 03 with the 4.7. We had a Denali that I really enjoyed, but the Wife was wanting something different and a bit smaller. We looked at all of the SUV's including the Durango again. We looked at the R/T and I didn't like that between it and the non R/T was just some badging, blacked out accents, etc.

After driving numerous SUV's we went with the new Ford Explorer Sport that only comes with the 3.5L TT Ecoboost. Same as what the Ford SHO has and the F150, although it has less TQ than the F150 but same HP.. It runs hard and would walk the Durango with no issue. We see around 19-20 on average for mileage which is in town, going to work, etc. Gets 22-23 on the interstate.

Has over 15K miles now and we have not had any issues with it.. I for one liked our 07 Denali better but for what she uses it for it works fine.. I think in a couple years we will look at an SRT-8 Jeep, although she would never use all that power.

Had a Citadel as a loaner when they were working on my Ram. It was bad ass and I'd buy one in a heartbeat. I wouldn't call it "fast" as it's heavy as fuck, but those Gen III Hemi's run pretty good. Avoid ones with the old 5/6 speed, pure garbage waiting to blow the 2' & #4 clutch packs. The new 8-speeds are awesome!!

Be nice if they put the 395 hp truck motor in it. Not sure why they are only 360hp.

Yeah, after some consideration it would definitely be a new 14' with the 8 speed and AWD. Going to go drive one here in a little bit.
