The dry sump LeMans engine there with single 4 barrel Sidewinder intake and Medium Riser heads. That illustration is not in any of my shop manuals... guess I've got the wrong cars!

"This is my car. A little info, original T-bolt, 496" Hi-Riser loaned to me by Jim & Jackie Gonia for these runs. Built by Panella Motorsports makes 919 hp, C-4 and 8" converter by Len Schneider, 4.30 rear 3375# with driver. My 454 Hi-Riser has iron heads and d-intake with 660's and makes 711 @ 6300. Why is 9.23 a world record?
There's a T-Bolt in Michigan with a naturally aspirated, stock stroke, stock carbs, stock valve size FE running 8.50's

My buddy has a really good 440 cube 390 built by Courson Racing Engines. This motor's street driven, runs pump gas, and has been [email protected] 126 with a Tremec TKO (stock synchros, it will be liberty faceplated for this season and hoping for some .50's). 67 mustang weighs 2900lbs with him in it. It went 525 on the pump. It was a budget build as well. Every time I talk to Courson he says..."yeah, that was supposed to be a street engine" lol!
