Does anyone know what some of the fastest 1/8th mile times are with a door car non promod running a stock 6.0 block and crank? I'm sure it will be boosted just trying to see what has been done.

I wonder also....but I am going to see if I can push the limits of the stock block and crank! Let you know once it is running!
i think the fastest stock block and crank 6.0L went 5.20s in a foxbody
Van Burgess, local guy around here. Car was for sale last I heard
Check out the Planet list, I know Haider's 8.4 pass was stock 6.0 block, stock crank + pistons:

How fast did Harlan go on the twin 66s? 8.20s at 166 iirc? That was stock ls1 block stock ls1 crank.
I'd like to know what Harlans car weighed when he ran that.

Im sure we are making about as much power as anyone with a stock ls1 block and crank, Id love to see what it would do in a lighter car...

It's not currently for sale, he is making a few changes the car. The shortblock is for sale though. We machined and built the engine for it.
From PlanetLSX list:

Matt Harlan: 8.29 @ 163 Matt Harlan, Firehawk, Twins, 348", Powerglide | I think this is the 8.29 pass http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Iify6fFP8zk
shum... i have a donor car :) 2900# RW
Mine was that light before I added the rest of the cage, stock seats and carpet, the big a2w and of course the turbo lol. Now its up to 3430 with my 225lb ass in it.

I have some buddies that have full blown drag cars (22-2400lbs), I may see if they wanna swap my junk in for a few passes...
Kurt went in the 6s with a stock block....don't know which crank though
Kurt/ Moran, custom stroke crank or a 3.27 stock crank Kurt (doubt it was a stock crank):

6.86 @ 205 Mike Moran | Twin 80mm | W2W 352 6.0 block | 2006 | No longer LSX-powered

What was the details on the combo an whats the info on the short block
This shortblock is an '02 6.0 block and crank, Compstar rods, Diamond pistons, Total Seal rings, Clevite bearings, ARP studs. We doweled the caps, 4.030" bore, internal oiling mods, machined the deck surfaces, balanced the rotating assembly and polished the crank journals. We have done others with Wiseco and Probe pistons.
