What are the fastest leaf spring 275 60 drag radial guys doing in the 60' .Im looking at the caltracks and there split monoleaf witha good adj. shock. You guys think low 1.30's are possible?
truck looks really good on launch in vid, have you tried leaving on more power, it leaves and carries to wheels out, sweet. put the big pills in it and see what the chassis wants!!!When i talked to Calvert they did recomend using the monoleaf. Im kinda wondering about the trax max bars from Smith racing, bit really no imput.

I was just thinking if it done that good with some old homade junk, surely it can do betterlooks pretty good in person, too. can't wait to see how it'll leave with a motor in it, lol. nice to see something other than a mustang at the track, too![]()
Your problem could be the .043 rings. I'm pretty sure....I've run 1.30 on the button on 315's about 10 times in a row very VERY consistent, and I'm still having problems, it will run 1.25 or better and get the calvet split monos it really helps a bunch over the stock leafs.
Got any info on his ride???Artis Houston has been in the high 1.2's, I believe and a slew of low 1.3's on the 275's with a cal trac, leaf spring setup
