New owners at the track stinking it up with 2.20 60 ft. times...

I haven't had mine at the track, but with the stock (275) tires, I don't doubt that statement at all. Mine launches much better in second gear (0-60 in 3.7 seconds, according to the onboard data logger), even on a good concrete surface. Too bad a 315 won't fit under the car as is - it definitely needs it.
