I am looking for a K-member for a 3rdgen that will allow me to get the pan off and on without lifting the motor up. Does the Racecraft- BMR- Spohn or anyone else have enough room to get the pan out??

I know that my Racecraft k-member has alot of room don't know about taking the pan off . I would give Mark a call at Racecraft he may be able to lead you in the right direction.

I have one from PA Racing with the stock type motor mounts, its a small block witha Hamburger oil pan which has a little deeper front than a stock pan and I could get it off. They will build you one with a lower cross bar if you give them dimensions.

My AJE has plenty of room to drop the pan, I don't even touch the motor mounts. Have swapped oil pumps right at the track, not that I really wanted to! Look at the picture, the black line right behind the rack is the only thing close to the oil pan, and it is in front of it.

A dropped k-member is an option for the Racecraft pieces ;)
Yep, get they're 1.5" dropped crossmember option to give you the max. amount of room possible.

My spohn has plenty of room to get the pan out too. They also give you the option for different braces, etc. when ordering. It sounds to me like you can pull the pan off with just about all of the aftermarket k-members.
