LMAO !! The article didn't mention any small aluminium bottles spinning on the floor when the fire dept showed up though.. I wonder if any of the "old style" Toyota blocks were damaged by like.. sledgehammers or something and maybe the "new style" blocks wont run so good this year.. who knows?

I was literally in their pit when that thing blew up. With a couple cohorts from my F-M days talking to them about rings & bearings while it warmed up. One big bang later we were standing there with oil dripping off of our hats, shirts and faces, the scoop and air pan laying at our feet, and nobody anywhere to be seen. Those guys disappeared like magic...

Shit, I was in columbus in the pit area right next to eckman when that thing let go. My buddy from Castrol was in his pit area when it popped and got covered in hot oil! Real smart putting a nitrous bottle in a drysump tank! Funny part was when the bottle rolled inder the mopar trailer and they were all yelling"Its Not Ours!".
