Chit, here in Maine we got fish swimming in brooks and streams like that!!!

I grew up in Nebraska where the state record Gar at that time was a puny little 100 pounds. It was enough to keep me out of the rivers.

I think the records down in Louisianna and Texas are way bigger than the one in the picture.

Oh, the reason they are called alligator gar is that long skinny mouth is just full of big teeth. It's kind of hard to see them in those pictures.

If the gar isn't enough to keep you out of rivers, the farthest up a fresh water river a bull shark was caught was around 1000 miles up the Mississippi river. Bull sharks are big and mean.

Hahahaha Monty's prolly never seen a fish bigger than a Smelt in the store,anyway he was prolly trying to figure out how they get a big fish like that in the show case cooler!!! :smt005 :smt005 :smt005
