is there a point where these tires loose there grip? Ive had great luck with them in the past. Just picked up another used set and they dont seem to hook like i remember. tires are just about at the wear bars.

How much power you trying to hook? You using the radial pro or the regular drag radial like the ultra guys use? Higher HP cars tend to beat up the sidewall fairly quickly, could be 10 passes on a set and their done or 100 passes, just depends on how much power and how hard it was hitting the tire.

was running 275/50-15 radial. found out my issue, which was the tires were smoked! didnt realize how old they were and that they had lost their bite! went to a set of et drags and ill never look back now! had a great outting with them!
