That flathead sure looks cool with that blower, but pulling the blower to run the valves might not be so much fun.

475 inch (4.00 stroke X 4.350 bore) BBc. OEM ZL-1 "052" block, OEM "074" ported heads, OEM "198" ported intake.

785Hp @ 6900, 705Tq @ 5100. Tested on both Pump 94 and Klotz 113, Made the same Hp up top, but with the klotz just came in earlier. Down about 40Hp and about 17Tq to what the modeling shows. Thinking combo of alum block (which is common) and the fact that maybe this old block just won't hold anymore.

WOW, I thought I had some good torque numbers, but that engine beat me by 50+ ftlbs. at 5100 and I have 10 more cuin and one more carb. and I only beat you with 5 more hp on top, cool deal. :cool:

Thanks. Took a while with alot of work, but pretty happy with the results. Trying to keep is somewhat stock looking like the F.A.S.T. series guys. Have the identical shortblock with iron block sitting. Thinking of camming it with better heads and tunnelram.

Actually, These are my carbs I bought off my crew chief. CFM carb is off my 500" motor and was just going to be a MAX Hp on the dyno for bragging rights. The CFM was a custom by Dale for my crew chief. EVERY motor that carb has been on and no matter what was on it, that carb ran better. From SB NA 10.5 cars to 632;s, that carb just flat out RUNS. And was going to run the Mike Edwards prep'ed DANBest, but that DAMN carb wouldn't fit the intake. That way I bought the RS BG.

Who makes them there "spead" exhaust "hi" port poncho heads? Neat deal, looks cool, hi-tech for a RE dragster or is it a Funny car chassis?
Valve layout is the same as the factory RA5 heads. These heads are a billet version made by Dave Wilcox at H&M Airflow Dynamics. This is in my nostalgia GTO funny car.
