This one is really more of a tuned up version of last year - up against the checkbook rev limiter. Added a different ring & piston package and EFI. Peak torque in legal trim during testing was 616 and peak horsepower was 697 at 6400. Not bad for a 433 incher at 11.5:1 - but I don't think it'll be enough to take the trophy in Limited (two classes this year).
Always interested in ideas. I'm running an "out of the book" Hooter's Cup profile. Seemed about right since they're limited to +/-.650 lift with high ratio rockers - I actually measure .646 with a 1.9 ratio T&D deal - some obvious flex or variability there.
