Procharged SBC Enthusiast
I have a 400 sbc with an edelbrock efi intake and a 90 mm accufab throttle body. I know most of the EFI intakes that they sell for the sbc market use a 4150 base. I was wondering that with fuel injection would there be a gain if you could put a manifold on an efi sbc with a 4500 base ? Seems like less restriction at the manifold while you still have independent fuel control. Just something I have been thinking about and was wondering if anyone has tried a setup like this on a sbc or sbf and did it help free up any power ?
