Yep, no problem the alky blower is clearanced tighter since it does not get as hot as a blower on gas. The blower will be cold and will sweat on E-85. The alky blower is typically hard anodized for corrosion which would also be beneficial on E-85.
Since e-85 uses only 30%more fuel than gasoline, it seems to me that the alcohol clearances would still be too tight for e-85. I wonder what blower shops use for clearance on e-85 verses gas and alchol.
Call the mfg. of the blower and tell them what you are doing with it . I sold a alky blower to someone and he put it on race gas and tore it up inside due to not being set up for gas use . End clearances to tight for gas and it ate up the bearings plates and chewed up the end of the rotors , major mistake on their part .
