Yes,it will spread it out on power and torque... And make more.
Try and do a calculation on cui of the plenum, it should be bigger than the cui of the engine, also when the carbs are close like that it'll cause reversion.

I tried a calculator think I’m doing it wrong. Said 100.3 cubes. The plenum is 15.5 long. The sides are 4.5 and center is 3” deep. Its 6.5 across top.

If you can make a 2" spacer for under the lid and try "shear plates" spacers under the carb, or a 1" 4 whole spacer under the carbs.

Steve, pipemax will give you some guide lines, this output is for my engine.

Minimum Plenum Volume CC = 1327.9 [typically for Single-Plane Intakes]
Minimum Plenum Volume CID= 81.0 [typically for Single-Plane Intakes]
Maximum Plenum Volume CC = 7904.0 [typically for Tunnel Ram Intakes]
Maximum Plenum Volume CID= 482.3 [typically for Tunnel Ram Intakes]

Recently Dynoed a customers engine from Sweden. It's an older Pro Stock DRCE2 engine that still has carburetors on it. Made 805Tq/1400H. In the video I puled the engine from 7800 to 10,200.... Enjoy!
