No video, but the thread is slow so I will throw this up from 8 years ago....:)

427 Clevor....9.2 Ford Racing block
Dave Jack ported the 3.6 BT's
Jeff from Modern Cyl Heads ported the intake
TLSR from Bullet, Yellow Terra rockers
10.8 CR and 92 pump fuel
OTB Holley 950
Made 690 with very little tuning, so we just left it alone.

Looks like awesome package. In a little drag car?
Thanks. No drag car, I built it for a buddy of mine that was going to start building Eleanor clones. I think it is still sitting in a crate.....LOL. It would be a blast in a little street car.

Thanks Dragboss. Couldn’t have done without you guys help. Have few refinements to do and should have good base. Pierre just sent a novel on dyno pulls so have some light reading now. 27 pulls total.
If you try that tunnel ram, I'd try a 1" spacer in between the intake and lid, I bet it makes way more power, plenum looks too small.

I was wondering about that. He gave me two tops. However the second is only a .100 thicker so it lifts the carbs that much up. What about a 1” spacers under carbs? My son works in machine shop I could easily get a spacer like you suggest made.

We did try it. Only picked up about 10 hp over Glidden intake with single 1250 quickfuel dommie. We had a 1 inch spacer under 1250 also.

No, I mean a spacer between the actual intake and the top that bolts on it, not carb spacers.

Steve, our home made intake had 2" spacers (4 x 1/2" pieces) of just white plastic where the runner and plate went together. Get your son to make them at work. I know every engine is different, but I also recall a Detroit All Motor guy running a 500" motor with no spacers when they put the single 4500 on?? So it's worth the try I think.

Another builder around here actually thought the plenum to small for 438 on ur19.the 4v chi pretty much identical to stock port. Maybe little less drop in floor.

Heres the dyno from 438. Notice tq from 5300 -5900. The fella I talked to calls that stacking of tq. He figured intake to small. I have no idea. Lol
