I hope you didn't take my post as a wise crack. I had no doubt you drive it on the street. You've got me thinking about putting mine back on the street. It's only 13.5 to 1, lol. Nice ride, man.

Simply amazing output from that SBC!

How does one go about stuffing 440C.I. Into a SBC? Also I didn't realize they would take a 2.18" valve. Really amazing output!

start with tall deck/wide pan, grind some clearance for the counterweights and have 4.125 stroke with 4.125 bore ... well that's what l did . I don't make enough money to bore the block within its last remaining metal and keep the stroke down :)

Thank you for posting that picture of the intake manifold. That was one thing I really worked on with our 434 SBC. Unfortunately, I didn't take any pictures at the dyno.

67 Nova 406 SBC Victor Jr for hood clearance, 10.7 pump gas street combination. Mike Lewis did the parts list, Mark Jones chose what pistons, rings he wanted, did the machine work, assembly, and dyno. Mark Whitener did the 1000 HP, and provided jets for my altitude, but Mark is at 6400' so it was a little fat. The cam is 255/259 @.05. It's gonna be fun, Mike, and Mark, great to work with as usual.
