If the pump is roots style lobes on the scavenge I would not vent the valve covers.let it make vacuum as long as possible on the run. I use a bypass spring check in a line from the valve covers so if the pump can't keep up with blow-by it can relieve the crankcase pressure thru the bypass to either the dry sump or separate catch can. Once the pump catches up the check valve closes and the engine goes back into vacuum. I run a 2 or 3 bar map sensor in the valve cover to keep a tab on blow-by.
Hey fellas, just got a new engine finished. Would like some opinions on these plugs. To me they look good, but I'm not a expert at reading plugs. Wanna know if these plugs look like some timing can be added. Thanks
Engine: 10:1 Teksid 2V Mod Motor. TFS heads, stg 4 MHS Turbo cams.
Question. Better to mount turbos where I want them l, or rather where the chassis wants them and build Custom headers? Or use prefabbed headers and mount turbos where they fit? First time turbo guy here so I’m not sure. Thx
