Looking for the best Good Year compound in a 33.5 X 17 X 16 to put on a dragster... I have heard something about a newer Good Year slick that works well.. Not a D5 or D6 compound.. Looks like it maybe a D2a or D4a.. Who has had the best luck with what? Let's hear it please... Our average 60 is a 1.16.. tires are shot.. and it's varying 3 numbers at any given time..

Thanks...

go with the d1 or d2a compound. i run the d2a currently in the size your looking for, current set has 120 passes on them, and still hook just as good. the d4a is for a dorr car weighing between 2000 to 2600 pounds and is designed for a slippery hot track, i ran a set of those on the monte carlo i had, and they worked great. call brent at goodyear in florida.

D2A..... I guess that seems to be the popular one around here after asking around. Hell it shouldn't matter with tires that big huh? lmao..
