Man, maybe i need to rethink my build! the chassis is done, finishing up a 370inch lsx. Maybe i need to go with a bigger motor..BTW its a stock suspended 275 tire truck ,been 6.20s with a stock 6.0 and a small cam with n20 @ 3400#...

we tried to get tony brown to let us bring some radial cars down there and run a 350-500 lbs more than anyone in that class and he said no. class is cool but didnt really show me much with what the radial guys up here are running and they aint 3,000 lbs either!

We are not trying to change your rules.

If you have what it takes to run with the PTRA bring it. Put them on 28x10's....

No problem, it didnt take me 450inches and 450 hit to do what i did and mind was still racing months after laying the # down. But, with the new chrome moly 7.50 cage and all the other work like tubler A-Arms,rack pinion,disk brakes all 4 corners,6inch outlaw hood,12 inch beadlocks w/315's,3 systems,more power and diffirent cam and around 200#'s of weight off should help it go alittle faster!! OH YEAH, HOW FAST HAVE YOU BEEN AGAIN JOHN:smt022

Won't make it down, sorry to say. I will be at VMP on the 25th of July on 275's for the race there though if you care to come on up. I understand if you don't show up, it's all good. You forget we talked at Rockingham...............

We went 5.8s first time out on 10psi and 275s (best 1.35 60) Got 325s under it now and an AMS1000 to control the power a little bit. I know thats no where near 8.40s but its a decent start.

I think Gary still has the fastest S-10 on DR's 1/4 mile but he melted the mill on the way!

So how close are you? Still at the chassis shop or have you moved up to the body shop?

My junk is actually finished, a little clean up on the wiring, setting the cross weight and re-adjusting the Cal-Tracs. Ready for Friday Night test and tune. Race on Sat.arty
