Man, maybe i need to rethink my build! the chassis is done, finishing up a 370inch lsx. Maybe i need to go with a bigger motor..BTW its a stock suspended 275 tire truck ,been 6.20s with a stock 6.0 and a small cam with n20 @ 3400#...

CAL-TRACS the only way to go with leaf springs!! i have been 1.25 60ft

Are you running the stock leafs or a monoleaf from calvert, hopeing to 60' mine in the high 20s low 30s with my new combo, 1.37 was the best i could do with the old combo.....

Im hopeing the cage and front susp plus the Jenny Craig diet i put this mfer on helps also, its got a homade set of bars on ot now but i may try some caltracs. What are most of yall runnin in the 1/8 mi. on 275s???

Was building a LSX 370 but i think im going to a 408 ls now ,the rest is a glide 9.5 conv 4.10s and 275s think its going to weigh 3300# with100# in the rear this time...

The 3300 is with me in it @215# it was at 3400# when i ran 6.20s last year. bit it really was a "street truck" full int heater, ect. maybe it wont be that heavy....my box body S-10 was alot lighter..

i was 3250 last year 5.40 on a 295 on a 8inch rim and hoping to weigh around 3000 this year maybe 29 something would be nice

That would be nice... I was runnin a stock shortblock 6.0 and unported heads " thats why my junk was so slow..."

not really, it is a carbed setup . pretty simple im taking some as i put it back together this time., ill post them as i do.

did you build your own headers?

Yes i did. They were fun, 1 7/8 long tubes ,inside the framerails and they dont hang lower than the frame hard to do in a s-10. I had a set of supercomps on my 1st gen and they hung wayyyy down, hit everything.

Hey man, you locals arent suppose to see that , i was going to sneak up on yall in KOTS. Oh well , there goes that...Yeah i did pick it up quite a bit added a lil # and got the 60" down, then upped the n2o to 225 shot... Here is a couple vids at Holly Springs.
