I had the whole car media blasted then shot it with DP90. Now I'm starting to do the sheetmetal work. Here is the question, If I cant finish an area and it will be awhile before start on it again can I spot prime the area with etching primer (SEM rattle can)? I have heard the two dont react well. I did a small area and havent seen a problem. Let me know if any one has done this

Thanks

different product all together.

Do the area, and let it sit if you need to. Get a large enough area done, and then SCUFF ANY areas that are still painted. after 10 days, it needs scuffing to coat.

Do a final sand & shoot it.

NAPA sells touchup spray cans w/ propellant that attached to the bottom. Mix, let sit for 1/2 hour, dump in, and shoot
