For the bullet to go in and out of the head of the Congresswoman, makes me think he used ball ammo, not hollow points. Has that info been made public yet?
I don't mean to come off sounding morbid. I feel terrible about the victims of that tragedy, but this is a firearms forum, so I felt this was the right place to ask the question. You bunch of sickos !!! LMAO !!!

I heard it came out her forehead, near the eye socket.. She had an operation to get bone fragments removed from her eye..At point blank range either would have blown a hole through her from the side of the head forward through the eye socket area.
That's the way I remember it.Issue was with clothing, heavy denim, flannel, heavy jackets would fill the hollow point and not let it expand consistantly.
If you look at the ballistic charts, 9mm fall between .38 Special +p's and .357 magnum's.. With some of the 9mm +P stuff approaching .357 magnums in energy delivered.. They are all .35 caliber..I heard he used a 9mm. After all the negative things I have heard about how small and weak a 9mm is and how it is not a good self defense weapon, and how you HAVE to have a .45, it appears to me that he did a lot of damage, especially if he used fmj's.
I hate talking about this also, but this has been on my mind for a week now.
Heck, even my MP5 was a .40.When HRT teams start carrying 9mm maybe then they will start to get more respect. One other thing nothing wrong with asking this question here.
