I`ve been hunting NJ for 32 years and did mostly small game hunting. Deer hunting was only done on the last day of shotgun season so the chance of bagging a deer was slim to none. I never got one up until today. I shot a small doe around 7:45 AM. The gut job came out good since the shot i took gutted most of it.
I took it to the butcher and went back for a second try. 4:30PM came around and i figured i`d walk out and call it quits. I got half way up a hill about 100 yards from the feeder and i turned around to take one last look and a huge doe just stood there. I took the shot and had to chase it about a 1/4 mile from where i was. I`m going back later tonight with a friend and his quad to pull it out. I would say it around 150LBS. I love the Nikon BDC scope. I`ll be going back out for the last time on Saturday.
