Is 4.600 max bore or can they be taken to 4.625?

Why would you want too? Ring seal is probably going to suffer

and if when you use that size bore....

the first time that you happen to have bad tuning luck and a ring hangs up and scores the cylinder walls... you will be done with the block and have to junk it out on e bay....

Um, it's an aluminum block......has replaceable liners.......

Was just wondering if I could bore it to 4.610 with no problems.

My motor I had to go to 4.610 with no problems so far. The vacuum is not as high as I would like but it's not bad.

The sleeves are quite thick and Dart says 4.625 is not an issue and as previously mentioned they change out rather easily, I reringed mine at 4.600 and the sleeves were excellent, if I need to I will go to 4.625 without a worry, at that there is more meat left than in most blocks
