I know they don't make any 3.0 or 3.2 gears for a 60 , but could you modifiy the dana 61 gears to fit . How much would it cost to make a run of these because i'm sure there's lots of people that would buy.

You would have to make a special offset spool in order to fit in the housing. The 61 had more pinion offset to accomidate the 3.07 ratio they used. You would also need to re-check spline engagement with the spool moved that far over.

3.54 is readily availible. As for making something less then that, you could get it done but it would be very expensive.

I forget, i wanna say it's like .190 but i don't really remember i have .215 in my head also.... been a while or was it .100 off the face of the case and .115 off the gear... I don't remember, but i have a few different memories right now and may be the 2 faces was because the case was thin...
