Get a AN hex plug that uses a o-ring.

Clean and dry all surfaces, then try some Right Stuff Sealer in the caulking gun tube on the drain plug choice you decide to use. Man, sorry about your luck! Good luck! Burt

That design aluminum pan is usually trouble free forleak at the drain plug with good gasket and plug

I found a oring (image a washer with a rubber center, but the outer most part is metal). It came with a white plastic, almost derlin type material, as a gasket.

I think that is actually is called a bonded seal. What is the exact thread in the trans pan that you are trying to seal?

I believe they are npt. I'll call tomorrow to verify thanks guys for the help! It was fine. Then I went out and it's leaking from the drain plug all of a sudden... WTF? Lol
