I'm interested in swapping out the D1sc on my 557 for a D3R. Seen a few for sale lately and got to thinking that this may be a good blower for my application. The questions are, will one of these blowers stand up to daily street use? How is the fitment on a BBC as a side slinger? I know the blower is a large unit but does the bracket keep it far enough to the side to not have to notch the valve cover? Just curious, anyone have any pics on a big chevy? Thanks

Good on the street because of the step up gear is 4.44 you do not have to notch the valve cover keep the pulley ratio in the safe range . don't go over 55000rpm on the pump speed and you will be fine. mark ps you will make big power with one .
