Why is it when they flip cars back over they just let them fall? They are already tore up but why not try to minimize the damage.

I was sitting right behind where this was shot. It all happened so fast, I had just turned to watch the blue Camaro, thinking that Rob would just back off and coast thru, as the other guy had fouled. By the time I looked back, he was on his left side, hitting the right wall. I never knew what happened until I saw this viedo. It took them an hour and a half to clean the mess up.

Going through your own fluid will do that. I'm sure he never had a chance to see the red light. Sean shot the whole race, heard ya won, congrats, you saw us on the way out the gate, we got home I bet before 2nd round was anywhere close to getting done.

First car was Jamie Hutchins' Vette. Didn't look like it was too bad.

The one track worker in the last video was an idiot. Trying to flip the car back over by standing on the side it's flipping towards. Real smart.
he was trying to cushion the fall....

No kidding!! Probably did another 5k worth of damage from that. When we used to run circle track damn safety crew would break out the sawzall on shit they didn't need to. One time got collected and just broke an A-arm and the fucker started rippin at the hood I crawled out just in time and was like what the hell are you doing if you wanna look inside pull the hood pins.:smt102

The car they flipped back over had no floor diagonals ,how does it get a cert? It looked like the one guy was trying to peel off the sticker.

when you crash, they are supposed to pull the cert sticker. So, that way you have to get it re certed if anything is bent or broken.

I'm well aware of that my point was that the car didn't have the proper tubeing configuation i.e the floor diagonals right and left side so how could they be peeliong off the sticker if it shouldn't of had one to begin with.
