Just wondering if there would be any gain in ET by reducing converter slip.
The converter I run is pretty much a 8" converter (the turbine measures 1/8" bigger than a 8" turbine), with a very negative vane angle.The stall speed behind my engine at presant is about 6600 which isn't to far away from what it needs , but the slippage is around 16%.
Would there be any gain in ET if I went to say a 7" with the same stall speed but with a more efficent vane angle and less slip.
Trans is a C4, 3200 lb car.
