I have a 3100lb car with a 632 on a .36 jet. Powerglide, 1.80gear, 16X33 rear tire, 4.10 gear and motor made 1140hp. Not sure about torque. My question is I really dont know where to start with a converter. I have a 10" NC Bolt Together but I am not sure if its the right converter. What should it stall on the brake and what about rpm drop at the gear change in order for it to be the right converter? Is there any thing else I should consider?

What are the numbers on the converter you have?

There is a lot more information required to build a converter for that application.
How high do you plan to rev that motor?

True stall is 4400, shifting the engine at 7400. 4.10 gear, 3000 lbs, 16x33 tire in the 1/8th only and an .036 kit What other info do you need?
