Looking for converter advice. My car spec as follows
56 chevy 4000 pounds with driver.
3.50 gears
turbo 400
blueprint engines 632 cubic inch engine.
cam 647/647 258 intake 266 [email protected] lift 112 lobe separation
efi with super victor intake and 1600 cfm throttle body.
around 600 whp.
currently converter stall is about 4700rpm. The car runs 11.70 bouncing the limiter at 5800 rpm 118mph with a 29" tire with about 250' left in the track. I am not sure what that calculates to in converter slip but it seems like I am loosing mph somewhere and I want to keep my rpm no higher than 6000.Do you have any recommendations? I would prefer to keep my 3.50 gears for some highway driving . I plan on using the car for events like Rocky Mountain drag week. I am a complete novice at this stuff so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

id get a 37-3800 stall and put in it ,your 632 has a ton of torque your half way thru the power band with the 4700 stall in it ,let the 632 work you have 3 gears too so you can start out alitte lower in stall and still make it work with out reving it to the moon
