I use solid rod ends in the front and back, so are you ALL saying that I should not use solids in the front?

You can but it is better to use a rod end on the front

I would never use a solid rod eye in the front. With that you will have to leave the bolt loose so the rod eye can move, and I do not like any part of the suspension to be loose.

I would agree but I have worked on probably 50 cars that used them and they had done so for years..

thanks for all the input. I'm going to change them out after this weekend. It's been 14 years like this and everything works fine. They were first installed by skinnykid racecars and never changed except to replace them every 2 years. The bolts are tight with offset bushings that seem to let everything work fine.

I will change and see what happens.
