Anyone had any experience with Slide-A-Links? Just installed a set on an S10 and set them up according to the instructions. How much if any adjusting have you had to do with them? How well did they work? Truck is pretty low HP setting it up as a footbrake/sportsman bracket deal. It's got stock leafs which are 3 long leafs and a short helper leaf. I pulled the helper leaf off.

A friend has them on his S-10. After chasing issues for a while, we changed the rear springs for some from a early 2000s 4.3 Sonoma. I think that they were the factory two leaf versions, not the standard ones.

Normal preload tweaking and cheap 3 way shocks, the truck does low 1.3 60' on drag radials. Considering that it is a mid 6 second (1/8) vehicle, I'd say that it leaves very well.

Mine is an 84 S10 and the springs are original stock springs. 1.3 60' is pretty impressive! I'd say they should work out good for my truck.
