400cfm with stock valves is pretty awesome...

I have a set of the Eddy G3 heads all ported...They are 372cff at .650 lift if I remember right....

For sale right now if interested...

No dogleg in the port. It's pretty much a straight shot in to or out of the valve.

Another advantage the flow bench does not demonstrate is the valve in the bore is unshrouded for 360 as it points to the middle of the chamber.

One drawback to the hemi design is you are limited in valve overlap but that is not a problem on forced induction.

IIRC you can buy those heads brand new from the dealer for around $1500 and the block is $1500 that will hold north of 1000hp - unaware of anyone even reaching its limits yet (big gas/hellcat block).

Damn. Factory stuff is making the aftermarket more and more obsolete.
Motorcycle engines were doing this long ago and automakers are slowly catching up. I raced Micro Sprints and the stock off the bike 1999 Yamaha R6 engine could compete with fully built engines I raced against. You could spend 7k to build one and not get big gains in HP and Torque, They were (still are) pretty well engineered from the factory.
