Have a sequential classic fast. Currently datalog with a laptop in the car. Currently datalog things like timing, duty cycle, boost, incoming air temp, etc
Looking to log a few more things such as drive shaft rpm and exhaust back pressure. What are the limits of datalogging with a classic fast? Is there a difference in logging capabilities with a laptop versus the add on fast data logger box?

The classic fast can only record engine functions, nothing else. Fast is no longer supporting the datalogger boxes either. My suggestion would be to get into a separate datalogging system, you can even get one to interface with your classic fast so you can get the laptop out of the car.

The FAST Touch Screen Logger should do the trick. You will need to order the Classic Fast Adapter Cable with it.
It has 8 analog inputs and 2 speed inputs.
