Has any one on the Bullet had fibergass bumper chromed? I know there are a few prosses. cosmic and another one. Both are paint. Seen the done they look Great. Just don't know were to get it done at. Does any one know?

you dont chrome fiberglass..


the paint you saw is by Alsa Corp. its cool shit. your primer has to be perfect for the paint to go on. any imperfections are seen in the paint.

also, they have a chrome 'wrap' now that works super nice and easy too.

just a big sticker that coves the bumper, or whatever part and looks chrome.

Spectra Chrome sucks!

I've had it done and it don't hold up.......... AT ALL!

Dulled out and for some reason gets a goldish tone when it gets wet. Was in heavy rain in the pits and the whole bumper looked gold. Looked like shit! Total waste of money.

Oh and the owner of Spectra Chrome was a real cocky son of a bitch, giggling about the issues.

Alternative Chrome did mine. Fortunately I live about 20 minutes from the shop. Mine will be going back soon as they were done years ago when they were just getting involved in the process and had some issues. You can't do them when the humidity is high unless you have a climate controlled shop.
