Of course it would sell. When I "was a kid" there was a hell of a lot of stupid music, and IT sold, for the most part. Half the shit the stones "are famous for" is shit. I have been shocked at how, over the past 25 years, mothers have allowed their daughters to listen and watch these performers. Some even seem to encourage it. I think it speaks volumes about the character of most women these days.

When I first heard "Brass in Pocket" at around 13 I fell in love with Chrissy Hynde. It was not because of the pic of her in a red leather jacket on the LP cover or the video of her as a waitress that I did not see until years later, it was the sexiness of her voice.

Today video and music are tied together. Most likely Chrissy would not have a career today, she is not attractive enough. It is sad to think of how much talent is being passed over for similar reasons.
