Hi guys, I have an 8" converter I'm about to send in and have rebuilt and modified to fit my combo. I'm running a sbc 377ci, 3.480 stroke x 4.155 bore, 13.6:1 static compression. Putting through a 400th, 4.56 rear gear, 28" tall tires, off the foot brake in the 1/4. Little to no street use. I'm also in the process of shopping for a camshaft. The solid roller cams I'm interested in all begin to build power around 4000rpm and die out around 8000-8200rpm. I plan on shiffting a little earlier, say 7600-7800rpm. This is a 3100lb car. Is there any other information needed to know proper stall? Thanks, Chris.

Not sure if the converter you have will be able to be adjusted to your combo but its worth a shot. I would say a flash stall , somewhere in the 62-6400 range will work well if you shift above 7600 rpm.
