We (as a nation) can't keep selling out to China. Just like you don't sell your house to Jews. You take care of your neighbors when you leave.

China has stepped in a steaming pile this time. Most Americans will agree that it's time for our manufacturing to come home.
Ain’t gonna happen. How many of us are going to by a $2000 US TV when the same size overseas unit costs $500? Answer; very very few. And there are thousands of other examples.

As soon as this china virus passes it'll be back to normal with no real effort by any company doing business in China today, to bring operations back to our shores.
It'll still be cheaper to have them making our consumable goods and medicines, and so the country will forget the hardships we're going through now and continue to buy the cheap shit as usual...

Bullshit..People wanted cheap shit and got it ..People look for and by cheap Chinese shit at others suggestions on here all the time..China started out making cheap fucking toys for the U.S. in the 60's....We as a nation consume way to much shit...
I can remember getting toys or something else as a kid. If it had made in china stamped on it was junk and did not last. We knew this as kids.
Amazing how things have changed in a lifetime.

My first priority would be to bring back the pharaceuticals back to our soil, as others have said, then go from there

I would give HUGE incentives over the next 10 years to move manufacturing back to the USA.

BTW - I would not be surprised one bit if was intentional. It is so difficult to believe that an organic (non man made) virus can be this well designed. It affixes itself to mucus membrane in lungs.

Bird flu attaches itself to lung tissue as well. Deep down so it can't be coughed up.

Made in China 2025 Initiative is where their focus is......they need all the customers they can get, so an attack against the US is so far fetched at this time, its a waste of time even discussing.

Steve Bannon warned about this early on.... his interviews online.

excerpt from Politico article, complete article link below;

Made in China 2025 strategy that Beijing launched in 2015 to achieve global dominance in 10 sectors including robotics, aircraft, pharmaceuticals and other industries.
The Trump administration specifically criticized that initiative in an investigation that has led to U.S. tariffs on roughly $360 billion in Chinese goods.

Yeah but the consumers demanded we make our stuff overseas...cause it's cheaper!!! Or so I've heard it said on here many a time.

And yet we still pay through the nose for our medications. Hmm...
Climate alarmist manipulation. Make everything bad for the environment and outsource manufacturing to elsewhere, then import cheap labor. Brilliant strategy Libs.

Well if they were to do something, the first move would be to try and get back the 1 trillion $$ China has bought in US treasury bonds.
China basically fucked their own economy with their communist "pride".
The Chinese economy is addicted to customers ,and the customers are now pissed with them.
