What is the advantage of making a Ford 351w run a Chevy firing order. The motor is 30 over 11-1 compression N351 heads this will be in a dirt race car.

No. I think you are mistaken
We only use the F351w firing order on SB Fords, unless the rules call for the old F302 firing order.
The F351w firing order is the same as the LS(43/72 Swap) firing order, after you renumber the cylinders.

Exactly. The Chevy firing order is actually the Ford Flathead firing order. 15486372.
Depends on exactly which Chevy V8 you are talking about.... it isn't if you are talking traditional Chevy SBC and BBC stock firing order, it has to be 4/7 swap firing order to be the same as Flathead Ford

Only the LS engine stock firing order matches Flathead Ford.
