What am I doing wrong? or is this normal. I`ve made peach and apple coblers, Awesome. But when I make a cherry cobbler the dough turns out looking like black sludge. I throw it away. I love cherries but I cant get it to work. Help Shriker

I'm not much into baking pies/cobblers and such, but I'm curious, are you using canned cheery pie filling or fresh cherries?

What are you cooking it at? Is your oven convection?

Ever try a dump cake/cobbler?.....canned and /or fresh fruit, Couple boxes of cake mix and whatever else( pecans,almonds etc)....we do a blueberry pineapple one of these on the pellet grill that gets great reviews......millions of recipes for them online
