I have a ford racing cobra jet throttle body that has the new style 4pin throttle position sensor; I would like to use the old 3pin style sensor on this throttle body. Ive seen some people do it but am unsure if there is an adapter i can buy or if they make their own. Anyone here done this before?

The reason i want to use the three pin sensor is so that i don't have to splice into the oe harness. This is going in a Ford Lightning...swapping over to a turbo. Ive seen some people use spacers but don't know if thats it or if there is a better alternative.

why not run the newer sensor unless you have to use

all four legs to make it work? Usually you got a Gnd, Vin, Vout..

i can't find a schematic to see what the wires are off of the 4 pin sensor. But if i did go that route then i would have to cut off the current pigtail on the truck and solder on a new style pigtail...not against that but thought it would be a bit less time consuming just adapting the three pin sensor.

Found two companies that make an adapter...in case anyone is doing the same.
