long story short, my t/o bearing blew apart after 2 passes and screwed up the press plate. so i have to get a new clutch. should i stay with the cf dual friction or go to the ram powergrip hd?

I ended up with the ram powergr for my impala. Was at the track earlier this month and she hooked unbelievable. It is a dual friction clutch. My problem is my 30 year old shifter is giving me problems
